Corporate Law

Corporate law is a branch of law that deals with regulating and supervising the activities of companies and organizations. Its main objective is to establish the legal rules governing the creation, organization, operation and dissolution of corporate entities, as well as to protect the interests of shareholders, directors, employees and other involved parties.

  1. Commercial law: refers to the rules governing commercial transactions, contracts, sale and purchase of goods and services, intellectual property, business competition and consumer protection.
  2. Company law: deals with the creation, structure and operation of commercial companies, such as corporations, limited liability companies, among others. It includes aspects such as the incorporation of the company, the rights and obligations of the shareholders, the liability of the directors and the adoption of corporate decisions.
  3. Financial law: covers the rules governing financial and banking activities, such as the issuance of securities, investment, credit, banking and regulation of financial markets.
