The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury is issuing the 5X General License Related to Venezuela, “Authorization of Certain Transactions Related to the 8.5 Percent 2020 Bond of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A., Effective August 4, 2026”; the General License 24A Regarding Venezuela, “Authorization of Certain Transactions Involving the Government of Venezuela Related to Telecommunications and Mail”; and the General License 59 Regarding Venezuela, “Authorization for the supply of certain goods and services involving the Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services, S.A. (Conviasa).”

In addition, OFAC is amending a Frequently Asked Question related to Venezuela, the Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) 595.
